Pork fillet in cream sauce.

Ingredients:

  • 500 g pork fillet
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons oil (for frying)
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves, chopped
  • 200 ml Stage
  • 1 teaspoon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon flour (optional, to thicken the sauce)
  • Fresh herbs (e.g. parsley) for garnishing

  • Directions:

    1. Cut the pork fillet into slices about 2 cm thick. Season with salt and pepper.
    2. Heat oil in a pan. Fry the pork fillet slices on both sides until golden brown. Then remove from the pan and set aside.
    3. In the same pan, fry onions and garlic until soft.
    4. Add the cream and mustard. Stir well and reduce the heat. Let the sauce simmer for a few minutes until it thickens slightly.
    5. Optional: If the sauce is too thin, you can add 1 teaspoon of flour to thicken it. Stir well to prevent lumps from forming.
    6. Return the seared pork fillet slices to the pan and cook in the sauce for another 5-7 minutes until cooked through.
    7. Season with salt and pepper. Garnish with fresh herbs.
    8. Serve the pork fillet in cream sauce with side dishes of your choice, such as rice, potatoes or vegetables.
