Ingredients:
- 500 g pork fillet
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons oil (for frying)
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, chopped
- 200 ml Stage
- 1 teaspoon mustard
- 1 teaspoon flour (optional, to thicken the sauce)
- Fresh herbs (e.g. parsley) for garnishing
The recipe is continued on the next page Directions:
- Cut the pork fillet into slices about 2 cm thick. Season with salt and pepper.
- Heat oil in a pan. Fry the pork fillet slices on both sides until golden brown. Then remove from the pan and set aside.
- In the same pan, fry onions and garlic until soft.
- Add the cream and mustard. Stir well and reduce the heat. Let the sauce simmer for a few minutes until it thickens slightly.
- Optional: If the sauce is too thin, you can add 1 teaspoon of flour to thicken it. Stir well to prevent lumps from forming.
- Return the seared pork fillet slices to the pan and cook in the sauce for another 5-7 minutes until cooked through.
- Season with salt and pepper. Garnish with fresh herbs.
- Serve the pork fillet in cream sauce with side dishes of your choice, such as rice, potatoes or vegetables.
Bon appetit!
