My husband absolutely loved this dish and gave it the highest rating possible! He insists I keep the recipe unchanged

Slow cooker cheesy bacon ranch chicken is a comforting dish that's perfect for busy weeknights or a cozy family dinner. Originating from the classic combination of chicken, cheese, bacon, and ranch dressing, this dish brings together all the flavors we love in a hassle-free slow cooker recipe. The creamy, cheesy sauce enveloping tender chicken is both savory and satisfying, making it a hit with kids and adults alike. It's a great way to prepare a hearty meal without spending too much time in the kitchen, allowing more time to enjoy with loved ones.
This dish pairs wonderfully with a side of roasted vegetables or a fresh green salad to balance the rich flavors. You could also serve it over a bed of fluffy mashed potatoes or buttered noodles to soak up the delicious sauce. For an extra touch, consider some warm, crusty bread on the side, perfect for sopping up every last bit of that creamy, cheesy goodness.
Slow Cooker Cheesy Bacon Ranch Chicken

Servings: 4
Ingredients
4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1 packet (1 ounce) ranch seasoning mix
8 ounces cream cheese, softened
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
1/2 cup chicken broth
2 green onions, chopped
Directions
1. Place the chicken breasts in the bottom of your slow cooker.
2. In a small bowl, mix together the ranch seasoning, cream cheese, and chicken broth until well combined.
3. Pour the cream cheese mixture over the chicken breasts in the slow cooker.
4. Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours or on high for 3-4 hours, until the chicken is cooked through and tender.
5. About 30 minutes before serving, sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese over the chicken and cover to allow the cheese to melt.
6. Just before serving, top the dish with crumbled bacon and chopped green onions.
7. Serve the cheesy bacon ranch chicken directly from the slow cooker and enjoy!

Variations & Tips

For a spicier version, add some diced jalapeños or a dash of hot sauce into the cream cheese mixture. If your family prefers dark meat, swap the chicken breasts for boneless, skinless chicken thighs. For a lower-fat version, use reduced-fat cream cheese and turkey bacon. You can also add some chopped broccoli or spinach to the slow cooker for added nutrition and color.
